And thanks for visiting!  DAL Designs is a small home design and site planning firm located in Victoria, Texas, with completed projects located in Bryan-College Station, Comfort, Hempstead, Normangee, Victoria, the Woodlands, and Houston.

While we specialize in builders sets of plans for residences and small commercial buildings (less than 4,000 square feet), our principal has many other capabilities.  Daniel Lunsford has been designing homes and small commercial properties since 2004, when he left a well-known architecture firm in Bryan, Texas to pursue other interests.  In addition, Daniel holds a master of urban planning degree with emphasis on historic preservation and ecological development, and a bachelor of science in recreation, parks, and tourism specializing in park and facilities planning.  Mr. Lunsford is also a formally-trained draftsman, and prides himself on being one of the last generation to be taught old-fashioned hand drafting methods and techniques.

Daniel is skilled with AutoCAD 2000 and later and Microstation V8i, as well as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and Trimble Sketchup.  He is also proficient with ESRI ArcGIS software, and can offer limited GIS mapping and aerial photography services as well (see below).
